Weve stayed at a few UTT properties but this is by far the best. Griff Rhys Jones returns to his homeland and visits some of the most breathtakingly beautiful parts of Wales including Snowdonia, The Gower Peninsula and Anglesey. The underfloor heating is effective but if you are like us and just love a cosy fire to settle down to there are plenty of logs available to buy if you run out of initial supply. There is so much to do in Pembrokeshire, but we loved staying in and relaxing in this home from home. Walk to the famous lighthouse on Ynys Meicl where you'll find a whale and dolphin-watching station, or explore the trails on the estate including a small woodland, some ruins and a small play area for kids. The cottage is beautifully presented and the location is superb. There is nothing I can fault about the cottage or our stay - other than I wish we had booked for longer. But it is in the epicentre of a fantastic place in which to get lost. Set in 70 acres of farmland, our Trehilyn properties are only a mile from the dramatic Pembrokeshire coast. An absolutely wonderful experience- could not have asked for anything else! We loved the coast path, so near to the house and a great walk on either direction. The house is wonderful, cosy and modern at the same time. We had our dog with us and although there was a sweeping brush it would have been useful to have a vacuum cleaner as well.
