About Bob McAdoo is a 70 year old American Basketballer born on 25th September, 1951 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Simply put, no player in hoops history achieved as much individual and team success as did Abdul-Jabbar. The move, widely questioned at the time, paid off for both the player and the team. That year he enjoyed his first of five All-Star selections, and led Buffalo to its first playoffs appearance, though they would lose in the first round to Dave Cowens and the eventual-champion Celtics. Fate, however, intervened in the form of a surprise Christmas present. Making him an unforgettable player were not just the big wins or the extraordinary stats (he averaged 27.3 points per game in the Italian league playing 199 games, in Milano he had 28.1 points per game in 1987/88 . A three-time NBA scoring leader, McAdoo was the 1973 Rookie of the Year and the 1975 NBA MVP when he averaged 34.5 points per game. In 2000, McAdoo was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
